I believe exercise and nutrition go hand in hand. A good diet providing optimum nutrition is central to overall health.
Included in your training package with me is a diet analysis of your current nutrition, and subsequent nutrition advice to make it work alongside your training to get the results you want.
The best results are achieved with a balanced diet providing good nutrition that is sustainable and becomes a life-style change.
When you tell me you want weight loss, I will assume that you mean you want fat loss and to sustain or increase the muscle that you have. Just losing weight by eating less often means you lose fat and muscle, and yes you will weigh lighter on the scales, but just be a smaller version of the shape you were before. The muscle loss will mean that your metabolism will be lower and so your weight loss will be harder to maintain over time.
Good nutrition put in place alongside your training will allow you to ditch the fat but keep the muscle, and it is maintaining the muscle that gives you that ‘toned’ look.
I will ask you to track your food initially, and I will use this to base my diet analysis on so that we can start to make improvements and changes to your nutrition as slow or as fast as you feel comfortable with. You will have a nutrition plan that fits into your lifestyle, and which is realistic and achievable.
The aim is to change long term habits, not just get a quick fix, and of course get results for you!
